Built from the ground up by the owner, every element of the home has been carefully considered — from the custom staircases and doors to the architectural lines and finishes. The interior was curated by a local interior designer, resulting in a warm, elevated space that feels both refined and inviting.
The main living area features soaring 30-foot ceilings, a stunning gas fireplace, and expansive windows that frame the surrounding forest.

A few important details to ensure you have the best stay possible.
Check-in is from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and availability.
Please respect the noise regulations of Dysart et al and be mindful of neighbours that live here year-round. Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please no shouting or outdoor music, as sounds carry.
Maximum 6 guests including children. Please list all guests when booking. Day visitors are not permitted.
Pets are welcome with pre-approval. Please let us know about your furry friends when booking so we can prepare the space. Please bring a sofa cover, as the sofas are leather and can be damaged.
Winter tires and an SUV are strongly recommended. The driveway is ploughed, but access is a bit hilly. Shovels and salt are provided.
Chalet Haliburton is nestled in the beautiful Haliburton Highlands, just a short drive from Toronto. The exact address will be provided after booking confirmation.
